Julia
de Peyer
Julia
de Peyer originally trained as a dancer at Bush Davies Ballet
School and the London School of Contemporary
Dance (the Place). She
then went on to work as a teacher at Bush Davies, Elmhurst and
The Place and as a dancer and choreographer in film, television
and theatre,
along such luminaries as Jane Dudley, Derek
Jarman, Stephen Dwoskin,
Alan Grint and Anthony van Laast and appearing in films like Outland,
Who Dares Wins and Nutcracker.
Following
her desire to explore film acting, Julia then went on to train
at London’s Drama Studio, before going on to work
as an actress in film and television.
As
an acting teacher, she has worked not only in the field of drama,
with film and stage actors but also performance techniques
and confidence
building with dancers, models, singers and bands.
Outside
film and teaching, Julia has managed a US recording artist, studied
practical philosophy at The London School of
Economics
Science and Philosophy and been on the executive committee
for a Gala Evening
in the presence of HRH, Diana Prince of Wales.
She
is passionate about music, art and horse riding and lives in north
London
with her husband and son.
Julia
specialises in improvisation and believability and the actor and
has taught at ISSA since the school was founded. |
