Michael

Michael
has worked extensively in television and theatre as an actor and
director since leaving Mountview Theatre School in 1978.
As
an actor he has appeared in many TV productions, including "Prisoner
of Zenda", "Allo Allo", "Freud", "Jesus the Evidence",
and many others and has performed in many stage productions.
His
directing credits include "Mandela": "the Murder
Game" which toured India: "One Flew
Over the Cuckoo's Nest": "Macbeth": "Midsummer
Night's Dream": "Kennedy's Children": "Merchant
of Venice" for theatre and film, and many others
too numerous to mention. He
has directed, performed in and writes for, many sketch comedy
revues, including "Newsrevue", "Bleeding
Arts", and "Shaken not Stirred".
His
most recent production was “Life and Times of a Wonder
Woman", which played Edinburgh Festival, New
York international festival and toured various venues in
the UK.
His
production of "BOOTH" won a Fringe First
award at the 1991 Edinburgh Festival.
Michael
has taught at the ACTORS CENTRE, where his classes include,
Creating a Character and Comedy Revue and a workshop
on performing
in “one actor” productions. He has
also taught at various drama schools and was guest
director
for the Millfield
Theatre
Company, where he directed many productions. He
was a founder member of the actor's co-operative agency "21st
Century Actor's Management".
Michael
is a founder director of the International School of Screen Acting
in London. |
