Sophie Dix

Trained at Drama Centre London, graduating in 1990. She has appeared as regulars or guests in television such as Soldier Soldier, The Buccaneers, Under The Sun, Thieftakers, Macawbre, Devils Advocate, Crossing The Floor, Between The Lines, Featherboy and films including The Hour Of The Pig, School For Seduction, Offending Angels and Second Best.

Her stage work includes a range of Shakespearean plays and new plays at venues such as The Royal Court and The Riverside, and most recently The Vagina Monologues for the Old Vic.

Sophie has also had a busy writing career in the last ten years, writing (sometimes to perform) for both radio and television as well as nine feature films; two of which go into production this year. She has taught acting at ISSA since it was founded in 2002.
